Lamoreaux Family Trip

Josh took this sweet picture of Grandpa

Tristan with Grandma Jill

Quint's parents, all of his brothers and their families, and our little family decided to meet up in Utah this summer for a reunion. We had a blast! The entire trip was dedicated to seeing family and just enjoying each other's company. We spent so much time on Danny and Emma's front porch hanging out and enjoying the nice weather. Their apartment is surrounded by big beautiful trees and grass with plenty of space for the kids to run around. The five cousins had so much fun playing with each other and entertaining us adults. :)
The second day we were there we went to a Judd family reunion honoring Grandpa Judd's 90th Birthday. It was great to see so many family members on the Judd side that we haven't seen in years, and of course to be with Grandma and Grandpa Judd on that special day. The visit with them was way to quick but we loved seeing them.
The following day we went to a Lamoreaux family reunion in Salt Lake that Grandma Jill put together. Every time we visit them it brings back sweet memories of when we lived in Utah and got to see them often. When we visit them sometimes it feels like we never left.
We're so glad that we were able to go on this fun trip! Thanks a million to Ma and Pa Lam for making it possible! :)

*small side note: I guess I never had my camera around to capture how much our boys were favoring their Uncle Sean on this trip. They both talk about him all the time and were so excited to see him in Utah! They may have smothered him a bit, but he sure is loved!

Playing at Danny and Emma's!

We couldn't wait to get there and snuggle this cute boy!

We took a walk around the BYU campus and told Tristan stories about when daddy went to school there. Tristan said he wants to go to BYU too. :)

22 weeks pregnant!

After Grandpa's birthday party we went over to the Judd farm. The boys had fun seeing all the animals, climbing the treehouse that daddy helped build when he was 8 years old, and exploring the farm.

PLaying on the jumping castle with all the cousins at the Lamoreaux reunion.

Waiting for the Provo Fourth of July Parade to start!

Happy Fourth of July!

Letting the kids go crazy at a splash pad near the restaurant that we ate at that night.

And to top off the trip we were caught in a crazy wind storm outside of PHX on the long drive home. It delayed our drive by an hour and it was pretty scary, but exciting too! :) These pictures were taken right before we drove into the storm... contemplating if we should turn around.

But we made it!

And Baby Makes 5!

Sometime in the beginning of November we will become a family of 5! We are so excited to have this new addition to our family. We found out a week ago that it's a GIRL! We're already in love with her and can't wait to meet her.

The day after we had our ultrasound Quint came home with this sweet gift for me. Our baby girl already has Quint wrapped around her finger. :)

The boys are so excited and they both talk about the baby every day.

This picture was taken about a month ago when I was 16 weeks.

Random Fun Things

My beautiful niece Katie graduated from high school a few weeks ago! We are so proud of her and wish we could've been there in Georgia to celebrate with her. She is sweet, smart, and fun and is definitely going to go places and see things in her life. Congratulations Katie Girl!!

Quint had to travel to Holbrook a couple of weeks ago for work and decided to take us with him and make a mini vacation out of it (Really mini. We were there and back in 24 hours). We made a small trip out of it and stopped in Flagstaff to see my friend AJ, and stopped in Show Low on our way home and took the boys to the Show Low Temple for the first time. It was beautiful. Tristan was more interested in the water fountain than being in the picture. :)

On Memorial Day we had some family out to go swimming at our pool and then we went to Eegee's afterwards for lunch. It was a great way to kick off the summer!
Lexi, Erin, and Adam getting warm in the sun because the pool was freezing.

Tristan decided that he wanted to tan with Bridgett. :)

Gavin cuddled Uncle Randy almost the entire time we were there. Seriously, the water was freezing!

This last weekend Aaron and Nevy came into town from Las Vegas! We got to spend a lot of time with Nevy which was awesome because the boys have missed her so much. The three of them played so great together the entire weekend, without many naps! They left this morning and we're going through some Nevy withdrawals. Can't wait for them to visit again!

I guess there was one nap. :)

Happy Papa Day! We had a great Father's Day and tried to spoil Quint. His only request was that I make him homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast. He's easy to please! I got to baking while Tristan and Gavin made him some drawings and they played board games with Quint all morning before church. We went over to my parent's house for a family dinner and had a great time and ate yummy food. I have amazing brothers and brothers in law who are such great fathers and are so good to my boys. To my father in law and my daddy, you continue to inspire Quint and me and quietly motivate us to be the people you know we can be. Thank you for your constant love and support. And to my Quinton J, you're the best and I love you. What more can I say? You're the BEST!

Uncle Randy, Gavin, and Uncle Tom kickin it while watching CARS.

California Knows How to Party!

Is there anything better than a relaxing family vacation by the beach? Nothing comes to mind! We headed over to San Diego for a perfect get away. Every year this city draws us back to it...it's a HUGE dream of ours to one day own a San Diego condo by the beach. :) We better start saving for that now!
This year we went to several different beaches, Sea World, The San Diego Zoo, and Old Town San Diego. The weather was perfect (is the weather ever not perfect there?) and the boys were in super good moods the entire time. My personal favorite was the San Diego Zoo. There were so many cute animals there that I've never seen in real life before like Panda bears and Koala bears, and the food and atmosphere there reminded me a bit of Disneyland. We'll probably end up right back in San Diego again for next year's family vacation. We can't help it. It's too beautiful and peaceful, and it doesn't hurt that all that fun is only a 5 1/2 hour drive away!

Starfish!

Waiting for the dolphin show to start

Dreams really do come true at Sea World...for Gavin. :)

Easter Celebration

Mesa Temple Easter Pageant

Happy Easter! We had an Easter celebration that lasted the entire week before Easter which made it more magical. Quint's parents and younger brother Sean came into town and we were able to spend a lot of time with them and made some fun memories. Tristan and Gavin went with Grandma Rere and Papa Dave on several bike rides to the park, they sang lots of goofy songs together on Tristan's guitar, and read lots of books together. Grandma Rere even took Tristan to preschool one day and Tristan was the happiest kid on earth. Danny, Emma, and Rowan also came to visit too! We loved celebrating Rowan's 1st birthday at his BBQ party at the park that his mommy and daddy threw for him. The entire Lamoreaux clan was at Rowan's awesome party and it's always so fun watching all the cousins together. We loved having everyone visit and can't wait for them to come again.
The Monday before Easter Grandma and Grandpa McCook came over and shared an Easter Family Home Evening lesson with us. The boys got to open Easter eggs and read scriptures from inside the egg which were events that lead to the resurrection of Christ. It was a very sweet lesson and Tristan enjoyed learning that Easter is about Christ. Watching my boy's testimonies grow is one of the best parts of being a mom. :) Tristan and Gavin are very blessed to have such loving grandparents.
The Friday before Easter we went to the Mesa Temple Easter Pageant with the youth in our ward. It's been about 10 years since Quint and I have been to that pageant and it was a really special experience. We were glad that our boys enjoyed it so much too!
The Lamoreaux family came over on Sunday for Easter dinner and for an egg hunt for the little ones. It's always great to have the entire family together, especially on such a special holiday. After the egg hunt Josh took a family picture, and then we all watched cute home videos from the 1980's...always a crowd pleaser! :)

Easter Morning

Quint loved the way the sky looked over the temple right before the pageant began.
