Pima County Fair!

Every spring we look forward to the Pima County Fair! I've been going there with my family every year since I was 8. I took Quint to the fair for his first time shortly after we were married and he loved it! It quickly became a tradition for our own family to go every year. 

The McCooks all meet there the first Monday night that it's open. Quint happened to be in Vegas for work this year on that Monday night so I took the three kiddos there myself and met up with my fam. Right when we got there Tristan looked at me, said he didn't feel good, then turned and threw up in the parking lot. I thought he might have just been car sick so we kept going and went into the fair. 5 minutes later he throws up again. We were all bummed but knew we needed to head home. 
Thank goodness we already had it planned to meet up with the Lamoreaux family that Friday! Grandma and Grandpa Lam were in town from NY and they got to have the fair experience for the first time with all of us. It was a really fun night...great memories. :)

Our Home Is Coming Along!

We are anxiously waiting to move into our home! We drive to see the progress almost every day and we're always so surprised how much they've gotten done in such a short amount of time. I've been mentally decorating the home for 4 months now...I can't wait to move in and put all of my visions to life! :)

Living with my parents while our home is being built has been so nice. We thought it would be hard not to be in our own home for a few months but my parents have made everything very easy and fun for us all. The boys love spending time with Grandma and Grandpa and playing in their playroom that is their temporary bedroom. They also love being in their beautiful backyard where they ride their cars, bikes, and scooters for hours on end! Although we are excited about our move, it will be hard leaving here in a few weeks and moving away from family, friends, and the beautiful neighborhood that we've called home for over 4 years. 

T-Ball

Tristan has really been enjoying t-ball this year and it has been so much fun to watch him play. This is the first year that he has really cared about his game, his form, and his skills. (My baby is growing up!) He asks Quint almost every day to play catch in the backyard and he's always asking me when his next game or practice is. His love of sports is really growing! Quint has been an assistant to Coach Westfall and loves every minute out on the field with Tristan.

Easter

 We had a wonderful Easter this year with a lot of fun festivities.

The boys had fun making an Easter craft together. They were so happy with how their bunnies turned out that they wanted to keep them right in the kitchen so everyone could see. 

The Easter bunny brought CARS swimsuits for both boys!

Tenley got some shoes and a few new toys that she loves to chew on.

After that we went to the Saxton's house for dinner and for the money egg hunt that my parents do.

 We love celebrating Easter and are so thankful to have the Gospel in our lives and to know that our Savior lives! Happy Easter!
