At the beginning of November we had the wonderful opportunity to walk with our niece Maya in the JDRF walk to cure diabetes. Maya is 4 years old and was diagnosed at 2 1/2 with Type 1 diabetes. She is such a strong girl! We love her and were so excited to walk with her. Josh and Elaine had so many great friends who came out and supported them too. That was such a special day, made even MORE special because you guys were there. I loved that Maya just wanted to be with Tristan the whole time. :) They are so cute together.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to tell you that the other today, we were driving by UMC and she said, "Mommy, do you remember when I was sick and Tristan came to play with me in the hospital?" It made me tear up.
